A: The website migration service that our company is offering is free (to a certain extent). We will move your web site(s) to our top–of–the–line cloud hosting platform without you having to do anything. We know from experience that changing web hosting providers can lead to lost information and undesired network downtime. This is why we’ll accomplish all that for you at no cost!We have highly competent administrators whose chief task is to make sure that your site works exactly as it did on your old web hosting platform. Our administrators are well–versed in migrating custom–built websites, as well as websites that are based on famous apps such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: There are plenty of variables to think about – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the web site itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do try to perform all web site migrations within a 48–hour time window. Less sizeable web sites are transferred faster – typically in less than 24 hours.

A: We will need the login information for your current web hosting provider’s Control Panel along with the web site’s name (domain name).

A: Before we can begin the migration of your account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to disclose essentially the same info you have given to your old host. We’ve also got a very rigid Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal info is tackled.

A: While we transfer your web site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your former hosting provider. Once the transfer is done, we will make sure that everything is functioning properly and that the integrity of your content is not affected prior to informing you that the transfer is over. After that, we’ll tell you how to move the domain name to your web hosting account with us and how to edit the DNS records.

A: Nope. Aside from your login info for the Control Panel, we do not require anything. We’ll never touch base with your hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: We support all Linux–driven web hosting platforms. Basically, if we can obtain access to your Control Panel, we will be able to migrate your web site.The only platforms that we don’t support are closed–source website management platforms like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
